I feel flames of fire on my cheeks
I lick the tears upon my lips
Erase the thorns upon my head
My chest free from the spike of lead
Thus my heart torn from that chest
Theres as much beauty in the grothesque
As stars that flaw the sky
So I let darkness crown my cry
And I cry
“How much water
lies in a rose of fire?”
You whisper
“As much as there is
in man´s nature desire”
But if that´s what it takes
To burn down such passion
Then morbidity should not be tamed
By such a smple distraction
So then
Why is the world what it´s become?
And why is there any mercy to come?
And why´s the dark a piece of card?
But my lip just bleeds as I bite down hard
So I let it be in my black deep lawn
And share it only with you until the dawn
